INNER WARD FOURTH FLOOR 14 GUARDSMAN'S WASH ROOM.

14 GUARDSMAN'S WASH ROOM. A colony of jousting wasps has recently come to occupy the area. They are building a paper nest in the southeast corner near the ceiling.

13 Jousting Wasps (AC 5; MV 3”/15”; HD 1-4 hit points; hp 1, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 4, 2, 4, 4, 3, 2, 3; #AT 1 sting; D 1-2; SA Attack as 4 HD monster on first attack; XP 6, 8, 9, 9, 8, 7, 9, 9, 8, 7, 8)

This room smells heavily of canine urine. A druid might possibly identify it as being lupine in origin.

The room was built to accommodate guards and other servants and therefore it is much less ostentatious than several others found in the castle. The floors are gray tile and the walls are unadorned stone. Against the west wall are hot and cold pump faucets and a built in basin with a drain to catch the water. Against the east wall are several simple toilets consisting of a boards with a hole in them suspended by bricks over buckets. Two small glass windows are high in the south wall and three more are to the east.

If the nest is destroyed it will drip a dark brown tar-like substance that is actually sweet and highly nutritious. Eating it will restore 1d4 hit points and there is enough for 3 doses.
